Torri Cantine in Martinsicuro in the province of Teramo produces a Trebbiano d’Abruzzo for the Bakán line at an altitude of 290 metres above sea level then with a magnificent thermal excursion from vineyard of over thirty years of age in a trellis training system with a strategic exposure facing south-south-east.
A trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOC obtained from a careful manual selection of the grapes of a harvest in the second ten days of September of certified organic agriculture that ensures maximum respect for the environment and its biodiversity.
The vinification is made in conditioned cement tanks followed by an aging of 4 months always in concrete which is particularly suitable for the production of white wines then proceed with bottling in the total absence of oxygen.
Let’s taste it!
Colour: a bright and intense straw yellow with golden reflections and an adequate consistency.
Smell: on the nose there are intense and persistent fruity and floral notes citrus, tangerine, apple, acacia.
Taste: the taste is dry and vigorous, savoury with a delicate and lasting almond final note, characterized by a nice freshness and flavor attenuated by moderate heat and rebalancing softness. A clean and lasting taste with a slight bitter note in the finish which certifies and confirms the prestigious terroir of origin.
A wine to be served chilled at a maximum of 6-8 ° C. It is perfect for any occasion: aperitif, appetizers, fish vegetarian dishes, delicate white meat and fresh chesses.
We imagine it with a tuna tartare, paccheri with rucola and shrimps chicken with peppers but also a very simple “caprese” with basil.
