Located in the Cristo of Sorbara, in the middle of the fertile province of Modena, between the rivers Secchia and Panaro, Paltrinieri is a 20-hectare family-run winery, dedicated to the production of Lambrusco di Sorbara for three generations.
The activity began in 1926 with the grandfather Achille and then continued with his son Gianfranco and his wife Pierina. Today the winery is run by Alberto and his wife Barbara.
In 1998, following his father’s intuition, Alberto vinified Sorbara and Salamino separately, giving rise to the first “Sorbara in purezza”, a single-variety Lambrusco di Sorbara.
The fundamental operations of wine tradition are here interpreted with scrupulous care, researching the typicality of the Sorbara grape, preserving its main characteristics such as the light ruby color and its natural acidity and sapidity.
