Between the mountains and the sea in Controguerra, in the province of Teramo, in a suggestive row over fifty years old, located at an altitude of 290 meters above sea level and beautifully exposed to south-south-east, the Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo from Cantine Torri was born from certified organic agriculture.

A single variety wine, that is 100% Montepulciano d’Abruzzo whose bunches are selected by hand in a harvest of the first ten days of October followed by vinification in rosé in thermo-conditioned steel vats and after an adequate maceration on the skins is finally bottled in the total absence of oxygen.

Let’s taste it!

Colour: a splendid cherry pink with a magnificent consistency.

Smell: it has floral and fruity scents of geranium carnation, cherry and raspberry.

Taste: a tasty, fresh and gently savory sip in perfect harmony with a refined softness. Aromas of strawberry, raspberry and blueberry are in magnificent harmony  with a delicate minerality, prelude to a subtle almond finish.

The Cerasuolo has the extraordinary characteristic  of being able to be combined with almost anything and certainly in any circumstance.

Served very cool, at a temperature of 10/12°C it is the perfect companion for fish, white meats vegetarian menus and semi-seasoned cheeses.

Imagine it with “pennette” and salmon, cheese and pepper but also barley with zucchini or chicken with cashews.
